PG Red Astray by STR1KU PG Red Astray by STR1KU
My first PG kit, was given as birthday present from my friends. Took me quite some time to finish this guy, it's the biggest gundam I've ever built so far.

I assume u meant to say daughter :D
Having 2 kids and still be able to do those kind of work is remarkable ( assuming modeling is not ur day job :P ) I also hope to have more time for my hobby when my daughter is old enough to play by herself :D

15cm, my guess it's 1/144 scale HG ( high Grade ). Which has the least detail and often ugly proportion... To make it decent it would require lots of work.. That's why I don't like to build them :P

No, this is the normal one. Not the first edition which include extra clear parts and extra samurai.

Yeah, I wonder if you can buy the extras separate? =/

Once I get mine, I'm planing on painting the inner-frame gold...I've seen it done before, and it looks SOOOOOO AWESOME! XD

I don't think they are being sold separately.. u could try to find somebody selling their extra parts though :D
Yeah Gold frame would be cool, I didn't dare to use other colour for the frame. Since even tiny scratch on the frame would reveal the colour of the real frame...

Yeah, I'd LOVE to have the bonus parts =]
Oh, I KNOW, I'd HATE for that to happen! I wish there was a way to dye the plastic =/

Excellent work man, have you used a deeper shade of gray/white for this for a subtle custom? It looks somehow deeper and more exciting colours than the normal Red Frame.

Thanks! yeah I did use gray colour instead of white. And I painted the cheast area white instead of original black colour. Making it more distinctive than the original red frame :D
